| The Teen Room needed
an update. We went through many ideas and started simple
with blue walls. While we were painting the walls blue
we came up with an idea to have paint splattered on the
walls. Once the walls dried we started to splattered
paint on the walls. It did not take long before all the
walls and everyone else had paint splattered on all of them. The theme of the youth group has been wherever we go that is where the party
is at. The theme comes from the song by the Newsboys that they heard while on a mission trip to Sheppard Community in Indianapolis, IN back in 2008. The meaning behind the theme is as Christians we should celebrate our love for Jesus and not be afraid of what people say or think about us. We should not be ashamed of our faith in Christ but throw a party wherever we go for everyone to hear and see so that more people can experience the love of Jesus. Jesus is doing exciting things with the Teens at Carlinville First. Please pray that they will continue to have Jesus work in and through their lives.
